
Police Investigating Death in Union, Maine
According to an article on the KJ website, police are investigating a death in Union, Maine.
The article explains that police were called to a residence at 8 Heald Highway/Route 17 on Saturday morning.
At 10 a.m., there were reportedly seven law enforcement vehicles at the scene.
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss released a statement explaining that police were investigating a death, but there was no danger to the public.
The article explains that the Maine State Police evidence recovery team mobile lab arrived on the scene, which is located near the Hope town line, at about noon.
The body was taken to the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office. Police have not released the name of the deceased, and Shannon Moss said that no further details would be released until after an autopsy had been completed.
