Police Looking for Suspect in Maine Shooting
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Department is searching for the suspect in a shooting that happened in Springfield, Maine, on Wednesday.
According to WCSH 6, at about 11:30 PM on Wednesday, law enforcement responded to a home on Ghost Road in Springfield. They had received a report of a man who had been shot.
The suspect fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.
It is believed that the suspect is Matthew Vandine, 45, of Molunkis.
The article explains that according to witnesses, Vandine was with 32-year-old Noel Wilson when he fled the scene.
When he was last seen, Vandine was reportedly wearing black sweatpants, a hooded sweatshirt, and a half-mask.
At this time, there is no word on the condition of the man who was shot.
