Portland Actress Claims To Have Been ‘Blacklisted’ From ‘The Young & The Restless’

Portland, Maine native Victoria Rowell, portrayed the character Drucilla Winters on the CBS soap opera 'The Young & The Restless' for 17 years. She is now claiming in a lawsuit that she was ostracized by the show's producers because she criticized the program's lack of diversity.

Rowell is suing the television network CBS and soap producers Sony Pictures Entertainment, among others. In the suit, it claims CBS and Sony retaliated aginst her for her public decry of the show's lack of diversity on and off camera.

Rowell, 55. was born in Portland and left the soap in 2007.
