According to a press release from the Augusta, Police department, the greater Augusta area has compiled a list of all the organizations providing food in Augusta.


 

Augusta Food Bank at 161 Mt. Vernon Ave during the day Monday-Wednesday from 12:30 -2:45pm  Reg. Distribution will be Thursdays from 9am-12pm for KidsPaks, you can contact them at 207-622-5225.

Boys & Girls Club Teen Program at the Buker Center,  Monday-Friday from 12-5pm and Saturdays from 10-12pm, you can contact them at 207-622-0452.

Augusta School Nutrition Dept. will be at the following locations, Cony HS Parking Lot, Williams Playground, Farrington Elem. Parking Lot, Lincoln Elem. Parking Lot or Gilbert Elem. Parking Lot  Monday-Wednesday from 10-11am, you can contact them at 207-626-2468  ext.1142

Salvation Army located at 36 Eastern Ave on Tuesday & Thursday, you can contact them at 207-623-3752.

Knights of Columbus Legion located at 400 Eastern Ave will be available Wednesday Evenings, and you can contact them at 207-217-9879.

Bridging the Gap  located at 209 Eastern Ave on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10am to 2 pm, you can contact them at 207-248-1782.

KVCAP Transportation at 22 Armory Street will be available Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, you can contact them at 207-622-4761.

Bread of Life Soup Kitchen located at 159 Water Street  Monday-Friday from 11 am to 12 pm, you can contact them at 207-626-3434.

Family Worship Center of God located at 2590 N. Belfast Ave during both Day/Evening hours, you can contact them at 207-622-6561.

Central Church located at South Belfast Ave (Mission Ave) is On-Call at 207-623-0911

MaineGeneral WIC Nutrition Pr. located at 6 East Chestnut St., you can contact them at 207-622-1000.
