Saco is Home To One Of New England’s Largest Mini Golf Courses
If you're making a trip to Southern Maine, one of your stops needs to be at Maine's largest mini golf course.
According to Only In Your State, Saco's Schooner Miniature Golf has been in business for over three decades. Given the name and the location, it is not a surprise that it is nautical themed. Each hole was designed to give the impression that you are on the rustic Maine coast. Lighthouses, boats, docks, and more.
The prices are very reasonable. Depending on how old the golfer is, they'll pay between $5 and $9.
According to their website, they are open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM through the end of August. After Labor Day, they ask you call about their hours. They are typically open from April through the end of September.
In addition to the 18 hole mini golf course, they also have a full dairy bar. Cones, shakes, sundaes, and more. We're pretty sure the house rule is that the loser buys the ice cream!
