Robot Janitors Coming To Walmart

Just when you were wondering..."what are they going to automate next?"  A press release is sent out informing us all that when we are talking about Walmart, the answer is the cleaning crew! According to prnewswire.com several Walmarts will be getting some robots to help scrub the floors.

These robots won't look like Rosie from the Jetsons, but more like a cross between a miniature Zamboni, a bumper car, and a motorized wheel chair, in fact, you may have already seem something similar in several airports around the country.

The retail giant says they will deploy some 360 custodial robots by the end of next month to mop the floors. The company says the robots will be used as a tool to help associates so they can focus on the customers.
