According to the WGME CBS 13 News, Portland Facebook page, there has been a  recall on Hannaford Supermarkets ground beef. Rockland Hannaford has recalled any ground beef sold on November 24th due to an equipment failure. This failure caused metal fragments to break off and potentially enter the ground beef.


 

Here is a list of the recalled products.

81% Angus with a use-by date of November 27th

81% lean with a use-by date of November 27th

85% lean with a use-by date of November 26th

91% Angus with a use-by date of November 26th


 

Those who purchased ground beef should NOT use this product and return it to the store for a FULL refund.
