Sabattus Disc Golf Will Be Hostintg 2016 U.S. Women’s Championship

Disc Golf is very popular locally and one of central Maine's disc golf courses is getting a major honor. Sabattus Disc Golf will be hosting the U.S. Women's Disc Golf Championship in September 2016.

The Professional Disc Golf Association, in conjunction with the Maine Sports Commission made that announcement earlier this week.

The Northeast has not hosted a major disc golf event, so this is a big honor for Sabattus Disc Golf.

Disc golf is one of the fastest-growing recreational sports in the country.
