Each year in the Netherlands they hold the annual sand sculpture festival, this year for the first time two new hotels have popped-up made entirely out of sand.

Fully furnished one room suites are in the Dutch towns of Oss and Sneak. One is molded after the Flintstones’ home town of Bedrock. The other has a Chinese theme to it. Dragons, the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Army.

It's all made from sand but they have windows, electricity, running water and Wi-FI. One thing they had to do because it is made of sand is to construct the shower and bathroom fittings from traditional materials. The bed is traditional too.

These were inspired by the ice hotels that are constructed in Sweden and Finland every year.

An overnight stay is $168 which includes a tour of the festival.
