SCAM ALERT – Those Flyers Are Not From Key Bank

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems like the scammers have really been trying to out-do themselves with creativity.  Alright, let's be honest, the scammers have always been trying to push the boundaries of creativity.  The fact that the way we all live our lives has changed makes the creativity even more noticeable.

Earlier today, the Augusta Police Department issued a warning regarding a new scam that has recently been taking place in Maine's capital city.

Apparently, the scam involves flyers that are reportedly from Key Bank.  The flyers, which have been turning up on the doors of people's vehicles, indicate that you should call "866-325-9653".   Police are warning people not to call the number and they say that Key Bank has been notified of the scam.
