Time travel has long been a thing of science fiction but according to Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, the idea of traveling forward in time should be possible. With that in mind, scientists are looking for evidence of time travelers on the internetThey are looking for an event large enough to be mentioned before it happened, more than a prediction, a solid fact. They think a large enough event, known to those far into the future, could possibly be mentioned by a time traveler by mistake after they traveled back in time. They are looking for things like mentions of Pope Francis because he is the first ever to have that name as a Pope. No one saw that coming. Researchers are looking at popular search engines like Google, but are also looking at social media like Twitter and Facebook.
