According to News Center Maine is in line to receive a couple of moderate snowfalls in the next few days. The first one will start late tonight and go through Thursday afternoon. Todd Gutner says that by Thursday morning we may only see an inch or so on the ground but the snowfall will pick up swiftly through the morning. We could see periods of banding as well which means it will snow harder for intermittent periods of time.

When the storm finally moves out around noontime on Thursday, most of us will be left with 3-6 inches of plowable snow. We'll get that out of the way just in time to welcome some more winter weather and more plowable snow amounts Saturday night into Sunday.
