According to WABI, several schools within MSAD 52 will be temporarily closed after four new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the town of Turner. The Superintendent said that Turner Primary School, Turner Elementary School, Tripp Middle School and Leavitt Area High School will be 'closed out of an abundance of caution' and that all extra-curricular activities have been suspended.

The switch to remote learning is only temporary as students in cohort B will return on October, 1st and cohort A on October, 5th. The KJ goes on to say that these closures will only be affecting the schools in the Turner area. Greene Central School and Leeds Central School will remain open with in-person instruction during this time.
