I am a Star Wars fan.

Alright, I admit it, I am more than just a fan.  I am obsessed with Star Wars.

I have seen all of the movies (even the awful ones), I have watched most of the shows, I've played the games, and I've read the books.  I even watch the YouTube videos of other Star Wars nerd, like Eckhart's Ladder.

Because of the amount of time I have spent ingesting Star Wars content, I can generally quickly spot stuff (spaceships, vehicles, characters, Aurebesh writing) when I scroll past it.

So, when this item popped up on my scroll through Facebook Marketplace, it knew instantly what it was.

Radio Flyer's Star Wars Landspeeder

If you have seen the original Star Wars movie you probably remember the scenes of Luke Skywalker driving around the desert planet of Tatooine in his 'car'.

Several years ago, Radio Flyer (the wagon company) made their own kid-sized powered version of this.

Intended for kids between 5 and 10-years-old the vehicle could hold up to two children and had a 130 pound weight limit.

Even though it is meant for kids, the thing really will fly.  You start it up by putting the shifter into either low-speed or high-speed mode.  In low, it will go 2 MPH.  In high-speed mode it will go 5 MPH.  You can also put it in reverse where it will move at 2 MPH.

If you hit the buttons next to the steering wheel, it plays sounds from the movie.  The sound effect of the landspeeder moving and R2-D2's beeping, for example.

Check out this video showing all the features.

Someone in the Boothbay, Maine area is selling one of these on Facebook Marketplace.

They are asking $400 which, considering a new one costs about $1,200, is a good deal.
