Strange Stories – Bigfoot Spotted In The Augusta Area?

It's amazing what you can find simply by surfing the Internet. While looking for some Augusta-related stories, I came across a video describing a Bigfoot sighting in the Augusta area.

Being a fan of Internet conspiracy theories, I had to take a look. I had no idea that Maine had Bigfoots (Bigfeet?). I guess I was wrong.

According to the site Bigfoot Encounters, the first reported sightings were in the 1800s around Mt. Katadhin. There were also reported sightings in Kennebec County in the 1970s.

There is also a Maine Bigfoot Society, and their Facebook page collects sightings as well.

Here is a video from YouTuber SnowWalkerPrime, with an interview with someone who said they saw a Bigfoot near Augusta, complete with artists renderings.
