New England’s Largest Wind Farm Proposed For Somerset And Piscataquis Counties
A 62-turbine wind farm has been proposed by Boston-based First Wind, if approved, this would be New England's largest wind farm. The proposed wind farm, dubbed the 'Bingham Wind Project', would have a generating capacity of 186 megawatts with the capacity to power 75,000 homes.
