With vacation time on the horizon you may be thinking about something a little different or unusual.  A place to lay your head where you say, “I stayed there’. Here are some off the strangest hotels in the world.

Seeing this list...WOW! There are so many places I've never seen! According to Maine Today, they have a list of the 25 of Maine's Most Beautiful Places. I have been to a few...but this year, I want Chad and our family to experience time together in the Maine outdoors! Nothing better than family time! And I'm starting to think...SUMMER!

Just when you thought 'Community' ensured Chevy Chase would be out of our hair for a while and the Ed Helms continuation of National Lampoon's 'Vacation' franchise had collapsed, in comes ABC with a TV reunion of the famous road trip family's parents, Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo!

I wouldn't consider myself a world traveler. Yes, I have been to Alaska, Italy and Australia but there are so many more places I would LOVE to see! Chad and I are planning to honeymoon in Nashville. I have been there twice...but the only things I've seen there is the ice arena and the Randy Travis store (which I don't think is there anymore). A few weeks ago I was on vacation in the Newport, Rhode Island area.  I had gone to the area to see Battleship Cove. But I realized just how close we were to the Newport Mansions, I had to go. I had seen many of them on TV shows, but the real thing is so much better...

This has been one cold week. As I look outside it is a little warmer than is has been and sunny, but still darn chilly. That started me dreaming about being on a beach with a little umbrella drink. I am not picky, any on this list will do. My top picks would be Italy and Greece. What is not to love?
