Ten Things On My Summer Bucket List
Since this is my last summer before I graduate from college and have to get a big girl job I've been trying to think of some really fun things to make this summer one to remember! I'm excited to finish it my list before my last semester starts up in September and the air starts to feel colder!
- 1
Water Balloon Fight
It really doesn't matter how old you are for this.. Get a bunch of your friends together, load buckets filled with balloons at different spots on your lawn, split into teams and let the destruction begin!
- 2
Play Scrabble
Like Tim McGraw's Humble and Kind song lyrics go: Visit grandpa (and grandma) every chance that you can, it won't be wasted time... They'll most likely make you some delicious, home cooked food. You know they'll appreciate the visit.

Jeep Rides & Mudding
If you don't have a jeep... you need to become friends with someone who does. There's nothing more fun in the summer as cruising around to nowhere in particular with the doors off and the top down in a jeep. I know spring is over, but mudding is another essential to my summertime bucket list! Two tips for this: Don't wear your favorite clothes and ladies, you gotta put your hair up if you ever want to be able to get it untangled!

Paintball
Vassalboro's V-Town Paintball has outdoor courses that allow for people of all ages to have a great time, whether first-timer or pro. There is a wide range of cost from $30+ per person depending on the group size.
- 5
Fair
Stay tuned for a list of all the fairs in Maine and their dates for this summer! It's always fun to enjoy some rides and some greasy foods.
- 6
Concert
Summertime is always the season for concerts! I hope to be able to go to Luke Bryan in Bangor on the 17th of July, but if not, there's always the free concerts happening at L.L. Bean this summer!
- 7
Hike Tumbledown
Tumbledown, I've always heard, is a great mountain to hike that ends with a swimming spot right at the top! This summer, I definitely plan to conquer this adventure with a few friends.

Zoo Trip
DEW Haven in Mt. Vernon is a non-profit, family owned and volunteer run zoo. During summer they're open closed Mondays, but open 10am - 5pm the rest of the week with a rate of $10 to $15 depending on age.
- 9
A Bike Ride
My fiancé just found me a bike at a yard sale and I'm super excited to go for bike rides this summer! Not only is it great exercise, but allows for more fresh air and sunshine than I get with my car.

Watch A Sunrise
I've already completed this one! There's something beautiful about the silence during the early morning hours... This was taken on Blueberry Hill in Belgrade this past weekend.
