The Wait is Over and the Clam Bar in Portland is Officially Open Today

If you've been driving by and wondering when is it going to open, today's the day!

The Clam Bar on West Commercial Street in Portland opens today! They had a soft opening over the weekend and it was a whopping success! It's been fun to watch this area grow after Benny's Famous Fried Clams closed. Remember that little shack? Great fried food and cheap and not much to it.

The Clam Bar has made that weird corner out on West Commercial a happening spot! They started a couple of years ago with a cute little food trailer and beer garden, but this year, they are all grown up!

The whole area is fun with some great fresh seafood and some South American vibes. Drinks too, because all food tastes better with a tasty drink. Try a painkiller, margarita, beer, or wine.

People are so excited for this to open! Because we've all been watching with anticipation! They are excited for the crowds to come today!

The Royal Lunch Bar will be open again for sandwiches and coffee available for breakfast and lunch from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. They renovated the building with a new kitchen, bar, and beer garden, and will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Seems like everyone is talking about these guys!

They are ready for you and have been waiting for this day for a couple of years. They've always wanted to be a brick-and-mortar place. They are super grateful that the food truck and beer garden got them through. Welcome Clam Bar! We can't wait to hang with you!
