This March, Freeport Will Become Heaven For Chocolate Lovers
Freeport is one of those towns that when you visit, you always leave feeling refreshed and better than before you arrive. I can't explain it, but it almost feels sweet yet magical in a sense, and it's about to get a whole lot sweeter!
According to a Facebook event page made by The Greater Freeport Chamber Of Commerce, The Freeport Chocolate Festival is coming to Freeport Saturday, March 12th. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased HERE for $10 each for kids ages 12 and under and $15 for adults.
Guests can enjoy a bit of hands-on candy making with candy bar-crafting at Wilbur's chocolate factory; they'll also learn to decorate cupcakes like a professional baker with the help of the Art of Cake Studio. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for tractor rides at Wolfe's Neck Center and, if you venture over to Freeport Town Hall, you can take a chance a play a few carnival games.
Knowing we reside in Maine and that March is still pretty cold out, there will be bonfires and hot chocolate stations set up all around town, many perfect opportunities to stay warm. Calling chocolate lovers of all ages—get your badge before they sell out! And don't miss exclusive one-day discounts and giveaways throughout Freeport.
