As the world slowly returns to normal, country music lovers are optimistic that we will see concerts take place in Maine (and the rest of New England) this summer.

Recently, we have heard that Brothers Osborne was going to be performing at the Maine Savings Pavilion this July.  Also, we got word that Old Dominion was going to be doing a series of concerts at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion over the long Independence Day weekend.

And, even though we had heard that there would be no concerts in Bangor this summer, it looks like that speculation may have been a little premature.

According to Taste of Country, Thomas Rhett has officially announced new dates for his Center Point Road tour.

The Bangor show is currently scheduled for August 20th, 2021.

He'll be joined by Cole Swindell and newcomer Gabby Barrett.

Tickets that had been bought for the planned 2020 tour dates are still good for the new show. Fans are advised to reach out to point of purchase for any further questions about previously purchased tickets.

If you have not purchased tickets yet, you can get them from Waterfront Concerts

If you cannot make it to the Bangor show, you can also catch him in Hartford, Connecticut on August 21st.  And, he'll be bringing to tour to Boston on September 18th.

Clearly, depending on the progression of the pandemic may cause changes to dates, times, seat arrangements, etc.

In addition to his tour, Rhett is getting ready to release a new album.  We'll get Country Again: Side A on April 30thCountry Again: Side B will come out later this year.

Maine Bars & Restaurants W/ Patios & Decks

Who doesn't love enjoying a beer and a burger on a patio (or deck) on a warm summer night? Clearly, as we are still dealing with the pandemic, you may want to reach out to each of these establishments to make sure they have not made any temporary COVID-related changes to their business.
