This holiday season is a time to spend time spreading cheer, and one local boy has decided to focus on doing just that. 11-year old Kyle Kenny of Ellsworth made his mission this year to honor veterans with wreaths at their graves this holiday season, a goal that he started a little over a year ago. He began fundraising after visiting his grandfathers grave to add a wreath and noticed many other graves did not have one. Initially he set out to raise $300 and in just one year, he raised $2010. While it is not enough to cover every grave as intended, he says that it just motivates him to fundraise more.
