Tom Cruise in Top Gun 2 Coming Soon
It’s been almost 30 years since Tom Cruise stared in ‘Top Gun as Lt. Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell. Top Gun 2 is getting close to becoming a reality with Cruise back again as its star.
Anthony Edwards was Maverick’s wingman Goose in the first movie which also starred Kelly McGillis and Val Kilmer.
Top Gun 2 has been in development since 2010 and had original director Tony Scott on board to direct again. In 2012 Scott committed suicide putting the film on hold. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is on board and says the movie revolves around pilots being obsolete because of drones and Cruise is out to show them pilots are not obsolete.
