Two teenagers have been charged in connection to a string of burglaries according to the Kennebec Journal.

The KJ is reporting that a 13-year-old from Wilton as well as a 14-year-old from Chesterville have been charged by Farmington Police on three counts of burglary, a count of felony theft by unauthorized taking, two counts of misdemeanor theft by unauthorized taking and four counts of criminal mischief.

The KJ reports that the alleged break-ins happened at three area businesses and a fourth break-in was also attempted. Police say that they believe the break-ins happened either late on August 14th, or early on August 15th.

The names of those involved are being withheld as they are minors and under 18. Additionally the names of the businesses that were broken into are being currently withheld except for the Better Living Center. The KJ reports that Better Living Center had posted on their social media that they were the target of one of the break-ins and that cash, cash registers and cameras had been stolen.

Better Living Center is located on Front Street in Farmington. It's alleged that Front Street was where most all the targeted businesses were located.

There is no word on who, or how old, the third suspect that is being sought is, though we will keep this story updated as more information is made available to us.

It's important to remember that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
