I've been using Facebook since it was made available beyond just college students by a guy named Mark Zuckerberg. You may have heard of him. CEO of Facebook Worth $103 Billion. Total geek.

The problem with Facebook however is that it has given a platform to every single troll on planet Earth to comment on whatever you post and make noise just for the sake of making noise. In the case of this troll, it wasn't even related in any way whatsoever to the post.

A picture was recently posted on our Facebook page of a nectarine. Every man in our office, including me, couldn't identify what fruit it was. I thought it was a peach and so did a lot of other guys.

The shock and horror that the men couldn't identify was also expressed on Facebook where women were just as surprised in the comments as they were here in the office. But one guy was decided he was going to play the troll, as so many often do on our social media platforms for some bizarre reason. Here's his response:

In case you can't read the image, the man's response was "Such bold journalism... Liberal, huh?"

If he was trying to be funny, he succeeded because I laughed out loud. Dude, it's a nectarine. What's that have to do with politics? Oh, I have the answer. NOTHING!

Not to pat myself on the back, but I was pretty proud of my comeback: "So you didn't know it was a nectarine either, huh Fred?"

He came back with another response that I had to delete because it used the word "hole" in a much darker way than what you would expect.
