Veteran-Photographer Slammed For Picture Of Baby Wrapped In American Flag

Vanessa Hicks, a photographer from Virginia, is getting a lot of backlash in regards to a picture she took of a soldier holding his newborn baby wrapped in the American flag.  Hicks, who was in the Navy and whose husband is currently deployed, posted the picture on her Facebook page and received a lot of criticism. 

While some saw the picture as beautiful, others were furious.  Critics state this is misuse of our Country's flag.  One person posted the picture on a Facebook page called "So you think you're a photographer" and said "The flag is not a prop.  I repeat.  THE FLAG IS NOT A PROP".
