Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Night in Fort Kent

The American Legion of Fort Kent will put on a Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Night at the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus hall on November 5th, at 5:00pm.

The evening will begin with a social hour along with a moment of silence and prayer for the over 58,000 Americans who did not return from Vietnam.

At 6:00pm The Maine State Select Honor Guard will fire 21 rounds from the State Ceremonial Howitzer followed by Taps performed by Bugles Across America.

A Rib-eye streak meal will follow along with a Gold Star Medal Ceremony for Vietnam Veterans.

Mrs. Ann LePage and LTC Peter Ogden will be in Fort Kent for the appreciation night.
