Vince Wilfork Tweets That The Patriots Are Not Picking Up His Option

Longtime Patriots nose tackle, Vince Wilfork, tweeted out today that the New England Patriots are not picking up his option.

In a tweet to fans Wilfork said that he was informed on Tuesday that the Patriots would not be picking up his option. He went on to say he's had a great 11 years with the team and loves the New England fans.

He added that he played 11 years for the greatest coach ever.

Vince added that he still wants to play football and he ended his tweet this way, ' I will always remain a New Englander a Patriot forever.
