What You Need To Know Before Brantley Gilbert’s Maine Show

Early 00s rockers Nickelback will be bringing their Get Rollin' tour to the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor tonight (August 24th).  They'll be joined by special guest Brantley Gilbert.  Josh Ross will be the opening act.

This could be the biggest show of the Summer of 2023.  If not THE biggest, it will definitely one of the shows that everyone is talking about tomorrow.

If it has been a few years since you have seen a show at the Maine Savings Amphitheater, there are a few things you should keep in mind.

1 - The Upgrades - Over the last few years, a lot of money has been invested into improving the venue.  It has been a cool place to see a show for over a decade, but with the seating & lawn updates, the VIP bar, the VIP boxes, and improvements to the restrooms, it is much nicer.

2 - Cashless - The Maine Savings Amphitheater is completely cashless.  All concessions stands accept credit / debit cards and mobile pay options.  Also, if you ONLY bought cash (who does that?) there are a couple of kiosks where you can convert the cash to a usable gift card.

3 - Will Call - If your tickets are being held at will call, the windows will be open from 2 hours before the gates open until the first act takes the stage.  You need to make sure you have an ID that matches the name on the purchase order or the name the tickets are being held under.

4 - No Chairs - If you are in the lawn section remember that you cannot bring lawn chairs or umbrellas.

5 - No Outside Food Or Drink - Don't plan on bringing coolers into the venue.  We all knew this one already, though, right?

6 - Clear Bags - If you are bringing a bag into the venue, it must follow the guidelines set in place by the venue.  The police says, in part:

Each fan will be permitted to carry one large clear bag – either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag - plus a small clutch bag, not to exceed 8” x 5” x 2” (approximately the size of a hand) may be carried into the venue along with one of the clear bag options.

 

7 - Children - Any child who is at least 3 years old much have their own seat.  Kids younger than three are allowed in without a ticket, but they cannot sit in a seat.  They must sit on their parent or guardian's lap.  Strollers are allowed.  They will be search on entry and they must be able to fold up to fit under a seat.
