Who are the World’s Best Tippers?

A lot of people work for tips as part of or all of their pay, so it’s good to know who the World’s best tippers are. Trip Advisor conducted a survey across eight countries and 9,000 travelers to find out which country had the biggest tippers.
Germany came out on top as the people that tip the best, with 69 per cent saying they always leave a tip. America came in second with 57 per cent saying they always tip. At the bottom of the list where the Italians, only leaving a tip 23 per cent of the time. Tips around the world vary as well, in North America tips are expected, while in certain parts of Asia leaving a tip is offensive, but it’s almost always acceptable telling someone to keep the change. Seems the safe way to go when you’re not sure.
