As more and more people are vaccinated for COVID-19 and there are still a lot of questions. One of the big questions is ...will this be needed every year like a flu shot or a booster every few years?

The answer? Probably, but no one is sure how often it will be needed.

According to the story at centralmaine.com they are still researching this.  How in the world could they have answers?  We are just a year into this and the experts need some more time to figure that out.  So we may be looking at a yearly shot like the seasonal flu shot.  We may be looking at a booster every few years.  But odds are there will need to be some sort of ongoing boosting to the original COVID-19 vaccine.

How is Maine doing with vaccination rates?  As of today (March 31, 2021) according to the front page of centralmaine.com, 31% of Mainers have had their first shot and 19% of Mainers have fully vaccinated, being fully vaccinated means you have had both shots or had the J&J single shot.
