Windham Police Seek Info On Man With Hatchet

Sunday at around 2pm, police were called to a home off Webb Road where a mother and her 12 year old son reported that a man had tried to break into their home. He was reported to be wearing a Halloween mask of a baby with bright blue eyes and over-sized buckteeth wielding a hatchet. When the family dog lunged at the man, he fled into the woods near the home.

He is described as dark skinned and was seen wearing dark bluejeans, a light blue ripped T-shirt, and a blue baseball cap on backwards. Anyone with information about the man is being urged to contact the Windham Police Department at 892-1000.
