I was looking for something fun to make with the kids and I found a cookbook that has a whole bunch of different cookies you can serve during the holiday seasons. Going through the 'Taste of Home Best Loved Cookies and Candies,' Anderson stopped me from turning past this page. These little critters are so cute you'll want to have them in your home!

They are called Christmas Mice Cookies but you can make them anytime! Here's what you need:
2/3 cup of semi-sweet chocoalte chips
2 cups of chocoalte wafer crumbs
1/3 cup of sour cream
36 red nonpareils
1/4 cup of slice almonds
18 pieces of  black shoestring licorice (2 inche pieces)

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave. Add the sour cream and 1 cup of of the wafers. Mix and then cover and refrigerate for an hour.

Roll 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a ball. Roll the ball in the rest of cookies. Add 2 almonds for ears, 2 non-pareils for eyes and a piece of licorice for the tail.

It's THAT easy! They don't take long to make and kids will LOVE to help!
