The farewell season of 'American Idol' started last night with auditions from Atlanta and Denver. The show featured some American Idol alumni contestants like Reuben Studdard and Clay Aiken. The show seemed to feature a lot of country singers.

One of my early favorites is Sonika Vaid, a 20-year-old student, from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
