Augusta Parks & Rec: Hosts Back To The Future Playground Program

Augusta Parks and Recreation is hosting a FREE 7-week long playground program for kids ages 6-12. As a way to keep numbers down and children safe, this program is for Augusta residents only.

This new playground program will take place at four different locations, Lincoln School Playground, Calumet, McCall, and Williams Parks. The hours will be 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and will start Monday, July 6th, and wraps up Friday, August 21st.

Each week will bring a new "theme" for the kids to enjoy. Augusta Parks and Recreation designed the playground program as a way for kids to get back into the community socializing with their peers, as well as encouraging their physical activity.

Breakfast and Lunch will be served daily at no additional cost, that's right, FREE fun and FREE food all while getting to play with new and old friends.

Families are required to register for this program; time slots are very limited. However they this is not a summer camp, and children do not need to attend every session. You can pick and choose the days you would like your child to attend when registering.
