Jeremy is a hero not only because he served our country, but almost a year after he came home, he was in a severe accident. Jeremy was on his way home from picking his cousin up at the airport, and he saw an accident in Augusta. Jeremy stopped to make sure everyone was okay, and he was about to pull the guy out of the truck and a van crashed into him, pinning him between the two vehicles. Jeremy lost both of his legs. Jeremy now has prosthetics and is doing great. He is an amazing person and he is a true hometown hero.
