According to the Capital Area Babe Ruth Leagues Facebook page, there will be no official Babe Ruth season this year. However they have found alternative way for kids to still enjoy the game, all while staying safe and following the CDC recommended guidelines.

CABRL will be hosting FREE baseball clinics on Monday nights, for players in the age range of 13-15. The player is only eligible if they were born between May 1, 2004 and April 30, 2007

The clinics will kick off Monday, June 18th at 5:30 pm, with a mandatory orientation to go over COVID-19 guidelines and set expectations. The actual clinics will run Monday nights starting June 22nd and run through July 20th.

Players will be required to bring their own water bottle that is not to be shared and must be kept with the player or in their bag at all times. Players are also required to bring their own baseball bats, gloves and helmets, as well has their own hand sanitizer.

To make sure these clinics run safe and smoothly the CARBL will be multiple volunteers for each clinic. Volunteers are needed to provide health screenings and to instruct players on drills, while helping player improve there skill sets. It is asked that volunteers arrive at 5:00 pm to have the adequate amount of time to prepare.

If you have more then one player or want to volunteer, they are asking that you fill out separate registration forms. You can find the form for players HERE and the form for volunteers HERE

Any questions you may have regarding the clinics you can contact Garret Murch at Garret.Murch@gmail.com.
