Jason Thompson ‘Dr. Patrick Drake’ Is Leaving ‘General Hospital’ For ‘The Young & The Restless’

Jason Thompson, who has portrayed Dr. Patrick Drake for ten years on the ABC daytime drama 'General Hospital' is leaving Port Charles and moving to Genoa City. In November, Jason Thompson announced via his Instagram page that he was leaving 'General Hospital' after ten years.

Now, it's reported that he'll be playing the role of Billy Abbott on the 'Young & The Restless' on CBS. The actor Billy Miller who orginated the role of Billy Abbott on 'The Young & The Restless' left that show to take on the role of Jason Morgan on 'General Hospital'.

Jason Thompson's story line will be ending soon on 'General Hospital' and he'll be first appearing on 'The Young & The Restless' in January.
