As we start Day 2 of our annual Tanksgiving Food Drive, I am incredibly overwhelmed.  I have never been a part of something like this before.  I am truly touched by the amount of support from the community.  I didn't think this kind of generosity existed.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Walmart, in Augusta, yesterday and at Shaw's in Waterville.  I was extremely amazed by a gentleman who approached me and told me he was homeless (as he continued to hand me his last jar of peanut butter and can of soup) and said this was all he had but wanted it to go to a family with kids...they needed it more than he did.  I actually teared up.  The giving continued when someone pulled up with a car load of food.

All of the donations we get stays right here in our community.  It goes to the Salvation Army and all the local food banks.  We've had some set backs with this years food drive, but that's OK.  We are going to still make this the biggest year we've had to date.  But, we can't do it without all of you.  Whether it's a pocket full of change or a bag full of groceries, no donation is too big or too small.  It all adds up.

Remember, Randy McCoy is not at the Tank up at Camp Keys this year.  If you would like to drop of donations to the station, you may do that.  We will be open later in the evening on Wednesday...and McCoy will even take pie in the face.  You can also stop and see us at each of our locations:

Tuesday: Goggin's IGA in Randolph  9-4pm & George's Banana Stand in Skowhegan
Wednesday: Shaw's in Augusta & Waterville  9-4pm
Thursday Walmart in Augusta & Farmington 9-4pm

We can not make this a success without you.
