One of the biggest debates right now is concerning minimum wage.  One side of the argument feels minimum wage should be raised to $15 per hour.  On the other end, people disagree.  They feel minimum wage jobs are entry level positions meant for students and not meant as a career.

This local man, shares some very good points on what exactly would happen if minimum wage was raised to $15 per hour.  He definitely puts it into terms we can all understand.  What are your thoughts?

Here's his first point:

I don't often hear this talked about in the Minimum Wage discussions... something for you to think about... Minimum wage is like gambling in a Casino..the vast majority are losers, very few win big...remember this about casinos and gambling (minimum wage), the house (the government) always wins.

 Here's point No. 2

Additional repercussions of raising minimum wage to think about... as the snowball rolls down the hill.. remember the prior video post about who wins...

And the final video:

Part three of the minimum wage discussion... keep in mind, not only do you pay more income tax, the government also gets to suck out more Social Security Taxes and Medicare... my rule of thumb is ultimately the government withholds 33% of my paycheck, but the video accounts for only some of that. Remember, you are the product, you are the salesman, the market will determine the value of the product, if you demand a high value, you damn well better be one heck of a product!
