Oh boy!  This is definitely a touchy subject.  Giving a crown to someone and then saying "Ooops, our mistake!  Now give it back."  That's what happened on June 27th when Molly Lybrook, 17, from Fairfield was crowned Miss 4th of July at the Winslow Jr. High School.

Following the pageant, organizers of the event discovered there was an error when calculating the scores which would have left Caitlin Grenier, 14, from Winslow as the actual winner.  Lybrook was notified of the mistake and asked to either give the crown back or share the title with Grenier.

At this time, Lybrook stands by the first decision.  "This is somebody else's mistake," Lybrook said. "I won fair and square, and if it truly was a mistake, then I'm sorry, but that's something the person who made the mistake has to pay for, not me — the winner.".

Lybrook has created an online petition to keep the crown.  What do you think?  Should Molly Lybrook have to give back or share the crown?
