This past summer while riding a motorcycle to raise money for the Shriner's Children's Hospital, our Augusta Police Chief, Robert (Bob) Gregoire, was seriously injured in an accident.
While the chief's wife, Cathy, along with Sgt. Chris Shaw, were also injured in the two bike crash, it was Bob who was most critically hurt. He sustained a neck injury that has left him partially paralyzed.

A camper that rolled over on Interstate 95 this morning continued to have traffic southbound traffic backed up as state police are continuing to clean up debris from the crash.
Nine people were seriously injured today (May 4) at a circus performance in Providence, RI. The accident was during the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus’ Legends show. The tragedy was due to a platform collapsing during an aerial hair-hanging stunt.
