Yesterday, I was thinking that I could use a little more money. That's when I remembered the old Oprah Winfrey episode when she gave all these people in the audience BIG checks of the money they had found online that they had no idea was owed to them.

Well, I went to the website and, lo and behold, I found our family MONEY!
I saw this yesterday and instantly went to my credit card statement to see if I had been charged!
Luckily for me, it didn't happen.

New plastic based Canadian money was introduced in November of 2011 and has now begun circulating around the country, and something seems strange about the new currency. Some Canadians seems to think it smells exactly like Canadian maple syrup. A newspaper tested the $100 bills by sniffing them and the consensus was they smell like syrup.
