A big country beach party is coming to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2017. The Tortuga Music Festival will feature Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton April 7-9. Last year’s festival set a new record with over 90,000 attendees from 47 states and 16 countries. They are expecting 2017’s festival to break that record.
Taylor Swift has filed a motion to restrict public access to some of the documents involved in her lawsuit with a DJ who allegedly groped her. In September of 2015, former country radio DJ David Mueller filed a lawsuit that claims that he lost his job and prospective business opportunities because of allegations that he groped Swift during a 2013 meet and greet. In October of 2015, Swift filed a countersuit, which alleges that Mueller “intentionally reached under her skirt and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission.” Now, the Denver Post reports that Swift is asking a Denver U.S. District Court judge to seal “hundreds of pages of court documents and exhibits” related to Mueller’s lawsuit and her countersuit; included in those pieces of information is a photo of the incident. Mueller has joined Swift’s request that the files be sealed as well.
Happy Anniversary to Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, they celebrated their 25th year of marriage on October 20. They were married in 1991.
