382 Maine Small Businesses Rewarded With $5 Million In Grants
The Maine Department of Economic and Community Development has awarded recovering grants to over 380 small businesses and nonprofits in Maine that will total five million dollars, according to a report by centralmaine.com
The grant awards will average about $12,700, with some awards up to $50,000 each..
These recovery grants will help the businesses and non-profit organizations with pandemic-related costs, supply chain issues and general infrastructure expenses that may have already been spent and had major impact on the budgets of these businesses.
The funds were made available by the Maine Jobs & Recovery Small Business Grant Program, and were ultimately funded with Federal funds through the American Rescue Plan Act.
