Usually it cats that are rescued from a home, this time it was birds. In Springfield, Massachusetts, 400 hundred birds were taken from a home and sent to Nevins Farm in Methuen to be taken care of. There were so many birds they were showing a little stress from living in such close quarters.

The birds consisted of chickens, pheasants, quail and pigeons and the owner did not surrender them voluntarily. The birds will be tested to make sure they are healthy and then will be put up for adoption.
