Have you heard of the hit children's show, Trash Truck? Well the moment I heard of this story, I immediately thought of this series on Netflix.

A garbage truck driver was minding his own business cruising down I-93 NH, and he noticed people trying to get his attention. Apparently, other drivers made him aware that a raccoon had hitched a ride on the back of his garbage truck.

What's funny is that we was literally sitting down on the back ladder stairs of the truck. Sitting, like a person. Just kickin' it enjoying his or her ride.

As people continued to let the driver know there was an animal kicking it on the back of his vehicle, he got used to it and said that he knew and that the raccoon had been hanging on at least since 3am.

If you haven't seen the video, watch here on WCVB Channel 5.

Trash Truck is about the adventures of a 6-year-old boy named Hank and his best friend who is a Garbage Truck. Their also happens to be a very fun raccoon in this show named Donny who is very close to the animated trash truck and I truly believe that the raccoon hitching a ride in NH, is the real life version of Donny.

Raccoons love trash. They don't discriminate. If they smell food, they aren't picking and they just go in. According to Pest Pointers, racoons are omnivores and garbage is just another source of food for them. They are not known to travel however.

So this particular raccoon either had a bad break up or is wanting to see more of the world. So he or she decided to take it upon themselves to hop onto a garbage truck with the wind in their hair and freedom at their fingertips.

The best part about this is that the raccoon planned this trip very intelligently because they have a ton of car snacks ie. the garbage.

Don't underestimate the power of a raccoon.
