Today is April 15th, known as tax day; the day income taxes are due. April 15th is also known as ‘National That Sucks Day’’.

Not only because it’s the income tax deadline but because other things that ‘suck’ happened on this date.

April 15th, 1912, The Titanic, the British passenger liner sank in the North Atlantic Ocean after colliding with an iceberg on her maiden voyage. The ship hit the iceberg the evening before, but sank during the early morning hours of April 15th.

April 15th, 1927 was the ‘Great Mississippi Flood’ when 15 inches of rain fell in 18 hours and flooded more than 17 thousand square miles of land.

Not everything that happened on April 15th ‘sucked’.
