While it has been a fairly mild winter overall, spring snowstorms certainly aren't out of the ordinary here in Vacationland. Remember the huge storm on April Fool's Day in 2011?

While the first half of the week will remain partly sunny and fairly mild, low pressure will slowly build developing into a storm system by Thursday morning.

According to NOAA, the precipitation will begin on Thursday morning as a mix of snow and rain, eventually becoming all rain by late morning with daytime highs around 42.

Later in the evening as the temperatures begin to drop, some parts of the state will see a shift back to snow and could see a 'plowable amount' by Friday morning.

We will certainly keep you updated as details of the storm develop.
