Augusta Police Investigating Threats Involving Local Athletics Fields
According to a post on the Augusta PD Facebook page, they are currently investigating threats to several local ball fields. As a result, all games for Friday evening have been cancelled.
The post says, in part:
Currently APD received an online threat involving the Piggery Road and Cony ball fields. All games have been canceled for the evening. Detectives are investigating the credibility of this threat and will update when we have further information
As we learn more we will pass the information on to you.
